0 hospitalizations; 42 new Covid-19 cases

(CHCC) — As of April 25, 2022, there were zero individuals hospitalized as a result of Covid-19.

From April 18 to 24, 2022, there were zero new hospitalizations

But 42 additional individuals had been confirmed positive for Covid-19, bringing the CNMI total to 11,263 cases since March 28, 2020. A duplicate was deleted.

Of the 42 cases:

18 on April 18, 2022

2 on April 19, 2022

3 on April 20, 2022 (3 on Tinian)

9 on April 21, 2022

6 on April 22, 2022

2 on April 23, 2022 (1 on Tinian)

2 on April 24, 2022

As of April 25, 2022, a total of 23,040 Covid-19 additional/booster vaccine shots have been administered; of the eligible population, 61.8% have received an additional dose. The vaccination rate is calculated using the 2020 Census population estimates for the CNMI and includes the eligible 5-year-olds and older population.

A total of 1,340 Covid-19 tests were conducted on April 18-24, 2022:

392 on April 18, 2022

140 on April 19, 2022

41 on April 20, 2022

347 on April 21, 2022

355 on April 22, 2022

40 on April 23, 2022

25 on April 24, 2022

No code is required to register, but pre-registration highly recommended as slots are limited. Reserve your slot to get tested before you line up and all slots are filled. 

Of the total cases identified, as of April 24, 2022, there were 11,210 recoveries, 19 active cases and 34 Covid-19-related deaths since March 2020.

Of the cases, 10,366 were identified via community testing and 897 through travel testing.
