Among the candidates are: Abraham Osima, Allen Kangichi, Richard Ngiratrang, Immanuel Maldangesang, Kenneth West, Ingeang Rimiirch, Ngirablau J. Sambal and Caleb Tekriu. Dorothy T. Kuroda, Alvina Merur, Hirohito Renguul, Kyoko April, Aderiano Noah and Dwight Ngirchemai.
On July 2, was the deadline for filing ofnominating petition for the legislative candidates while on July 16 is the deadline for the registration of new voters.
PEC Administrative Specialist II Maria Decherong-Simer, said among the 15 candidates only eight will be elected to occupy the legislative seats.
For the gubernatorial post, on the other hand, incumbent Gov. Browny Salvador and Lorenzo Ngiramolau are the two candidates vying for the seat after they won in primary election held on June 25.
Aside of Ngarchelong State,Ngiwal State will also be conducting its Legislative election on August 10.
The deadline for filing of nominating petition will be on July 16 while the registration of new voters is on July 21.
The elected legislators have a period of two year terms in office.
