Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that they conducted checkpoints at the Airai State between 9 am and 11 am.
Aguon said over 100 vehicles were checked and 18 were cited for unregistered vehicles and driving without a license.
Aguon said they would conduct more checkpoints this week and next week to ensure that everybody is in compliance of the law.
Aguon said checkpoints will include sobriety and DUI.
The checkpoint is a joint operation of BPS, Division of Labor and Bureau of Immigration.
