The 29-year-old and 31-year-old victims called police and reported two separate incidents of assault and battery on Monday.
Sgt. Michael Rafael said the 29-year-old victim sustained a minor cut at the back of his ear.The victim was in the company of his girlfriend when assaulted by an unknown individual.The victim and his girlfriend went to the latter’s aunt’s house in Madelaii to pick up something when the suspect approached the victim and attacked him causing him minor injury.The incident was reported at 4:36 pm.The second incident was reported at 8:32pm at the Surangel barracks in Airai.Police report indicated that two men were fighting. The 31-year-old victim was beaten up then by another man.The suspect fled after the incident.No arrests have been made and the incidents are under investigation.
