2 government lawyers cited for speeding

TWO government lawyers were cited for speeding last week by the Department of Public Safety’s traffic enforcers.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Ashley Kost and CNMI Chief Solicitor J. Robert Glass Jr. were caught driving over the 45 mph speed limit.

Kost was driving at 46 mph on Chalan Pale Arnold late afternoon May 9. The traffic citation directed her to appear in local court on June 29 at 8:30 a.m.

Glass was cited for driving 51 mph on Chalan Pale Arnold on May 12 around 8 a.m. Glass was directed to appear in local court on June 22 at 8:30 a.m.

Kost and Glass can pay their speeding tickets to avoid appearing in court.
