The three students’ ages 16 years old were arrested at 11: 50 in the morning after an unknown male called the police office and reported three minors smoking marijuana.
Police brought the suspects to the police office. They had strong odor of marijuana, and later students admitted that they indeed smoked marijuana.
Police cited the three students in the presence of their parents and released them afterwards.
This was the second group of minors arrested by police for using marijuana this week.
Meanwhile, three minor students of PCC were also arrested by police for consuming alcohol beverages.
According to the police report, the three male students — two Pohnpeians and one Yapese — were arrested early morning on Nov. 6 after the security guard of PCC called the police office and reported the three students.
The reports disclosed that students were intoxicated, and they went to the PCC dormitory and bother other students.
Police immediately responded and brought students to the police office.They were booked and confined in Koror Jail until they sobered up.
