Ms. Antonio and Mr. Ridep have endured long and arduous months of adult education classes and successfully completed the courses requirements. In addition, they passed the General Education Development (GED) tests and each was awarded a high school equivalency diploma.
The Governor of Angaur State, Steven Salii and members of the state’s legislature, representatives of the Ministry of Education, along with representatives of Japan Embassy and residents of the state witnessed and celebrated the achievements of Ms. Antonio and Mr. Graham and their families last Saturday, February 28.In addition to the graduation ceremony, the people of Angaur were treated to a movie that evening – courtesy of Japan Embassy and Japan Foundation. The movie, Nabbie’s Love, has garnered awards from renowned movie critics and is said to be wonderfully entertaining.The people of Angaur, despite the foul weather and rough seas, had a delightful weekend.
