Taiwan’s largest communication provider, Chunghwa Telecom Co. Ltd. is in partnership with PNCC to develop and improve Palau’s telecommunication services by expanding PNCC’s cellular network and building a new earth station to add internet capacity.
The Company is a telecommunications service provider in Taiwan, whose main services include: fixed line services, cellular services and Internet and data services.Former president Remengesau earlier said that Chung Hua Telecoms in Taiwan is committed to help the PNCC to improve its cellular phone and internet services all over the country.The expanded service under the partnership will ensure that all of Babeldaob and the Rock islands will be covered with the PNCC services.At present, PNCC’s cellular phones are out of coverage in some areas in Babeldaob and the rock islands.
