More than 400 registered voters are expected to troop to the polling places to cast their votes.
Election Officer III Festus Ringang said there are two polling places set by the Commission, one at the PEC office for the central box and one at the State office for the proper box.
Incumbent Gov. Steven Salii, legislator Maria Gates and Natus Misech are the three candidates vying for the gubernatorial seat.
For the legislature, there are 12 candidates aiming for five legislative seats. Among the candidates are Oliver Kasiano, Carlos Ramon, Jonathan Severio Joseph, Leon Gulibert, Joshua Lewis, Wilbur Telei Jr., Warren Fukuichi, Rodrick Blanco, Flavin T. Misech, Ignacio Santiago, Theofanes “Theo” Isamu and Benhart F. Thomas.
The election will start from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Ringang said after election the ballot box will be brought to the Election office and they will start the counting process.
Angaur State has 457 registered voters.
If Salii wins this would be his second term in office. The term of office for the elected officials in Angaur State is two years.
