Apprenticeship program

Helping to pioneer the apprenticeship program in the CNMI is Pacific BioMedical Services Inc. Photo shows apprentices Dexter Castro, left, and Kristin Basa run preventative maintenance diagnostics on defibrillators. The CNMI apprenticeship program offers apprentices on-the-job training, relevant instructional courses to the occupation, incremental wage increases, and, upon completion of the program, a nationally recognized certification issued by the U.S. Department of Labor. For more information on how you or your business want to be part of the apprenticeship program, visit marianas.edu/apprenticeship or contact the CNMI Department of Labor at (670) 664-3298 or Northern Marianas College at (670) 237-9203.
