Civic Action Team (CAT) Capt. Chris Bulson said that there are about 20-30 students who showed up for the briefing.
Palau Community College Continuing Education is collaborating with the team to provide assistance and support for anyone interested in joining the United States military.The next scheduled visit for military recruiters coming to Palau is April 13 to 17 this year. During this time they will administer an exam required of all military applicants called the ASVAB. In order to help all applicants understand and prepare for the exam, PCC and the CAT offered preparatory activities starting from April 6 to 10, 2009, on a schedule to be agreed upon by all applicants. Those interested to register or for more inquiries, please contact Taruu or Leona at the PCC Continuing Education office at 488-6223 between now until Friday, April 3, 2009.“Since time is running out, we urged anyone interested to call right away and take good advantage of this opportunity,” PCC said.
