The Emergency Management Office said that the emergency siren will undergo testing and maintenance at 11 a.m. beginning on Monday and will continue on the first Wednesday of every month.
The siren will emit a fast wailing tone for 30 seconds up to one minute.EMO said public is advised not to panic as this is only a test.This is to ensure that the siren is working properly, EMO said.Public is advised to tune in their radios for information and instructions or call EMO office at 4882249 or 4882422 for more details.
