THE CNMI Women’s Association, a non-profit organization, aims to help empower women who want to build their own business, Valentina Rivera, CWA project director, told Variety.
“We want exist to see them stand on their own and establish their own business,” she added.
From Feb. 11 to March 1, CWA will run the “Women’s Entrepreneur Project Cohort III: Entrepreneur Sprint.”
Participating women entrepreneurs will meet with each other to gain insight and support, Rivera said.
There will be three women per group, and they will focus on business solutions, she added.
“It’s a three-week event so that each participant will get a week to discuss and find solutions for the areas she is having difficulty with,” Rivera said.
The weekly schedule is as follows:
• Saturday — Understanding the business problem
• Sunday — Ideating the problem
• Monday — Designing the solution
• Tuesday — Prototyping the problem
• Wednesday — Testing the solution
