The Japanese Society of the Northern Mariana Islands donated approximately 70 pounds of clothing and marine sports equipment for children to Karidat Social Services. The donation came from the Japanese Autumn Festival held on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the NMI Museum grounds. The donated items will be sold at The Thrift Shop, located in Dandan next to the Karidat office, with proceeds supporting Karidat’s community programs. Through this initiative, JSNMI continues to serve as a bridge between the Japanese community and local organizations, promoting goodwill and support across the Northern Mariana Islands.
