
(NMTech) — Northern Marianas Technical Institute has selected six students to receive the 2026 Grit & Grind Scholarship, recognizing their perseverance, dedication, and commitment to technical education and workforce readiness.
The scholarship recipients are:
• Joshua T. Cruz – Electrical Level II,
• Keith Johnson – Core Fundamentals,
• Emelita Dalusong – Culinary Arts I,
• Josephine Lizama – Culinary Arts I,
• Dylan James Lizama – Core Fundamentals, and
• Jacob Jude Lizama – Core Fundamentals.
The Grit & Grind Scholarship honors students who demonstrate exceptional work ethic, resilience, and determination in completing their training programs. The scholarship provides financial assistance toward tuition and other program-related expenses, helping to reduce financial barriers and allowing students to focus on successfully completing their training.
