
(PSS) — Francisco M. Sablan Middle School installed its Student Council Advisory Panel on Jan. 27, emphasizing the critical role that student leaders play in creating a supportive learning environment.
The new student officers are Desmond Gabriel M. Camacho, president; Que’ana Carlysse K. Limes, vice president; Jannie Hade H. Manglona, secretary; Elika A. Mendiola, treasurer; Lymmia Michelle S. Macaranas, sergeant-at-arms; Lindsay D. Bocago and Riley G. Vicente, public information officers; Hannah Gabriel R. Ramos, historian; Cayli Mae Acera-Cabrera and Chyrstal Javarine L. Deleon Guerrero, sixth grade representatives; Shine Ahane T. Santos and Chlore Jade D. Enriquez, seventh grade representatives; and Nasha Jobelle D. Canoy and Ricah B. Alvarado, eight grade representatives.
The student leaders were sworn in by Superior Court Judge Joseph N. Camacho.
Commissioner of Education Dr. Lawrence F. Camacho, for his part, joined FMS Principal Cherlyn C. Osung and her school leadership team and community in celebrating the installation of the Student Council Advisory Council.
According to FMS, the panel is a testament “to the school’s ability to cultivate not just academically successful students, but also students equipped with the vision and passion to advocate for what is just and right in their community.”
With the installation of new officers, the panel now “embarks on an inspiring new chapter, fully committed to initiating activities that support its learning environment,” FMS stated.
