(SIS) — Saipan International School proudly announces that four of its students have been chosen to participate in the prestigious Questbridge College Prep Scholars Program. Milarose Magno, Christian Newman, Ian Song, and Jacky Zhen represent one-fourth of the junior class, highlighting the academic excellence and potential that is nurtured within the halls of SIS. They join the 3,911 high school juniors out of more than 16,000 applicants to receive this honor.
Questbridge, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting talented low-income students with educational opportunities, has recognized the exceptional promise of these four students from SIS. Through the College Prep Scholars Program, these students will gain access to personalized college admissions support, valuable resources, and guidance to help them navigate the path to higher education successfully. Other awards within the program may include a full scholarship to attend a college summer program, access to Quest for Excellence Awards, and access to the Questbridge National College Admissions Conference.
Saipan International School is committed to providing its students with not only an exceptional education but also the resources and support needed to pursue their dreams beyond high school. As part of this commitment, SIS offers generous financial aid programs to support students from the CNMI in their pursuit of higher education. Despite being a small school, SIS students have been awarded Questbridge Scholarships every year since 2020 and two for the class of 2024. Its Questbridge universities include Boston College, Emory University, Princeton University, and Wesleyan University.
