The participants of the Governor’s Broadband Boot Camp on Tinian learn about fiber optic and Category 6 cable splicing and termination techniques from instructor Christian Camacho at NMC’s Tinian Campus. The boot camp is conducted in conjunction with the CNMI Broadband Policy and Development Office, Northern Marianas College-Community Development Institute, Northern Marianas Technical Institute, Island Training Solutions, and the CNMI Department of Labor-Workforce Investment Agency. It is an accelerated workforce development program tailored to equip participants with the technical expertise and professional skills required for success in the fiber optic network deployment industry.
