SOROPTIMIST CNMI is hosting their “Live Your Dream Ceremony” Annual Gala on Feb. 10, 2024. This year, Soroptimist CNMI will be giving a total of $3,500 to four deserving women who are pursuing their educational goals and are a part of our island community.
The gala, which includes dinner and unlimited drinks, will be held at the Magellan Room Buffet Restaurant, Pacific Islands Club Saipan in San Antonio. The event begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. A silent auction will also be available.
This year a record number of 23 applicants applied. To be eligible of this award applicants must be female who are pursuing their undergraduate degree or trades degree, is the financial head of household, and can demonstrate a financial need. It is a cash award and judges are non-Soroptimist members who use a scoring system to decide who the awardees are.
Soroptimist CNMI’s mission is “to improve the lives of women and girls in the CNMI through education.” This event and the community support showcases the pursuit of the mission.
