(MVA) — The Marianas Visitors Authority has launched a contest inviting individuals to submit short videos of their adventure in the Marianas, with the top entry winning roundtrip tickets for two from Saipan to Tokyo, Japan.
“Show Us Your Marianas Adventure” launched on Thursday, Oct. 16, will accept submissions of one-minute videos through Nov. 15, 2024.
“ ‘Show Us Your Marianas Adventure’ is an opportunity for both visitors and residents to showcase the best of their adventures in our destination,” said MVA Marketing Manager Thomas Kim. “From adrenaline-pumping adventures like skydiving, to family excursions like going fishing, to cultural experiences like building and sailing canoes, we want to see it all. And MVA will showcase the best of these stories to the world through our Instagram.”
Activities must take place in Marianas and be clearly identified as so, must positively promote the destination in a positive manner as determined by MVA, and must not exceed 60 seconds. Video entries may be emailed to elizama@mymarianas.com in MP4 format.
MVA will select 10 video submission to be posted on the official MVA English Instagram (@themarianas), and the final winners will be determined based on the total number of “Likes” received during the public voting period from Nov. 25 to Dec. 2, 2024. Winners will be announced on Dec. 6, 2024.
Submissions must not be posted or uploaded on any public site or channel to qualify. Complete contest rules may be viewed at instagram@themarianas/.
