As a part of the Lady Diann Torres Foundation’s 2020 Project Haligi, 2019 Miss Northern Marianas Shannon Sasamoto and Paulaine Sasamoto create a mural that “serves as a reminder that love is a form of acceptance, understanding, and respect.” The sisters created this piece to spread awareness and support of the LGBTQ+ community in the CNMI. LDTF extends its thanks and appreciation to all artists who have participated thus far and to all its partners for contributing to this project.
