THE 2025 Camry, which boasts an elevated design and an all-hybrid lineup, is now ready to take you on new adventures over the newly built roads of Saipan.
The 2025 Camry activates its electronic motor once the car reaches a speed of 30 miles per hour. From that point, the car doesn’t use any fuel to keep it going.
According to sales manager Kevin Barnes, the 2025 Camry LE features a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that is paired with Toyota’s latest electric motor technology. It generates about 225 horsepower while posting an impressive mileage of about 51 miles to a gallon, thanks to the vehicle’s hybrid technology.
“Toyota’s Beyond Zero policy has the vision to take the company to carbon neutrality in order to positively impact the world,” Barnes said. “It’s one way that Toyota wants to demonstrate that it cares about the communities that drive their vehicles. And I’m sure that the gas it saves our customers is also going to be welcomed as well.”
With Toyota’s new hybrid technology in the 2025 Camry, the vehicle activates its electronic motor once the car reaches a speed of 30 miles per hour. From that point, the car doesn’t use any fuel to keep it going.
Barnes says that hybrid technology doesn’t require charging at home, as the electronic motor draws power for its battery when the fuel engine is in use.
The new Camry is now available at Atkins Kroll Saipan’s new location in Puerto Rico.
Beyond the inner workings of its machinery, the new Camry’s exterior is certainly a statement piece. Its chiseled build features a wide, low stance and a sleek roofline. Inside, the Camry XLEs and XSEs come with a 12.3-inch digital Gauge Cluster with selectable gauge display screen. The XSE features leather-trimmed seats, while the XLE comes in leather and microfiber trim.
The Camry has long been a popular choice in the CNMI. Barnes calls it the “prestige” sedan of the islands.
“…When fans of Toyota think back to the ’90s, they can reminisce about using our trucks to get work done around the ranch or transporting things around the island. There weren’t any compact SUVs yet, such as the Rav4, so unless you were driving a 4Runner, the family vehicle—the one that wasn’t used for the tough, physical work that island trucks sometimes had to complete—was a sedan. And the prestige sedan on Saipan, even from way back then, was and remains the Camry,” he said.
Barnes told Marianas Variety that island residents have been eagerly calling his phone in anticipation of the model’s arrival. Now that they are here, he’s convinced a test drive will reveal how smooth the Camry performs.
“Now that the completed roadwork projects have come through for Saipan, it’s a great time to purchase a Camry,” Barnes said. “And just as experience shows, the quality and financing of our vehicles means that you could pay off your new car in five years while enjoying it for decades after without another car payment.”
Kevin Barnes, Atkins Kroll Saipan’s sales manager, can expect more test drives and calls now that the island’s “prestige” sedan is available on Saipan.
The new Camry LE starts at $36,999 and comes with a $2,000 Down Payment Assistance. That means Atkins Kroll will pay for $2,000 of the customer’s down payment to help them get started, according to Barnes.
