THE United Filipino Organizations will hold the Annual Pistang Pinoy in celebration of the 127th anniversary of the declaration of Philippine independence on June 8, Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Marianas Business Plaza parking area in Susupe.
All members of the CNMI community are invited to this whole day event, which will showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines through entertainment, games, group and individual performances as well as food and non-food items that will be offered by local vendors.
“We are in the final stage of our preparations,” UFO President Carlito J. Marquez said.
There will be raffle draws and a “Roleta, Spin-to-Win” game whose grand prize is a Saipan-Manila round-trip ticket courtesy of Super Tech Inc. There will also be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes.
