(MV) — In celebration of National Women’s Month in March, the [Women’s Affairs Office or name of organizing group] is hosting several events honoring women and bringing awareness to women’s accomplishments and ongoing efforts toward gender equality.
To kick off the month, there will be a Women’s Month Proclamation taking place on March 1st at 10AM at the Multi-Purpose Center. On March 2nd, there will also be an optional Eucharistic Celebration held at 6PM at San Jose Church in Oleai for those interested.
In honor of International Women’s Day on March 8th, there will be an empowering event held from 9AM – 4PM at Carolinian Utt featuring inspirational speakers, workshops, product vendors and more. Community members are encouraged to come enjoy this free event.
Additionally, a Women’s Wellness Walkathon fundraiser will take place on March 16th at 5AM in Inos Peace Park. Funds from this event will support local women’s health and empowerment programs.
