THE Saipan Humane Society is offering a two-week spay/neuter clinic this October, thanks to support from the Banfield Foundation and the Mars Ambassador Program. The clinic will run from Oct. 14 to 17 and Oct. 22 to 25, 2024, at SHS in Garapan.
Don’t let cost stop you from taking advantage of this opportunity! Financial assistance for pets in need is available through Banfield Foundation. Reach out to us at clinic@saipanhumanesociety.org or (670) 233-7387 for more information and to sign up for surgery sponsorship.
Before surgery:
No food after dinner the night before, but water is OK.
If your pet is anxious, stop by for medication in advance.
Ensure dogs have properly fitted collars, and cats must be in carriers or mesh laundry bags.
After surgery:
Limit activity.
Prevent your pet from licking the surgery site (we can provide cones).
Follow all post-op care instructions.
Scheduling is open now at www.saipanhumanesociety.org/. Help us reduce pet overpopulation and improve the health of Saipan’s furry friends!
