The Attorney General’s office on Friday filed Criminal Case No. 10-021 against Dugan for hurling death threats at President Johnson Toribiong.
Investigations by police officer Marlon Bechab revealed that on
February 17, Dugan has indeed threatened to kill President Johnson Toribiong while he was at the Belau national Hospital for a medical check-up.
OJ Brel (Jason Omeliakl) and Madonna Olkeriil who heard Dugan’s threats voluntarily made written statements reciting the death threats.
Since Wednesday last week, Dugan spent 72 hours in solitary confinement.
Dugan who was earlier charged with 39 counts of attempted grand larceny, forgery, attempted cheating and money laundering had recently entered into a plea agreement where he was ordered deported and fined $10,000 after pleading guilty to three counts of forgery charges and three counts of attempted cheating.
Dugan is the prime witness in the money laundering case against Senate President Mlib Tmetuchl and Lucius Malsol, President Johnson Toribiong’s brother.
