DUE to thick black smoke, Garapan residents were alerted to a fire that broke out at a former auto shop on Asusena Avenue late Friday afternoon.
The abandoned structure was frequented by homeless individuals, Variety learned.
Emergency responders were seen directing traffic and blocking non-emergency vehicles from entering the area.
On Sunday, Robert Mojica, public information officer of the Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services, said no one was hurt, adding that DFEMS will issue an official report Monday.
