The suspect was identified as Anthony De Ruiz while the victim was identified as Arnold Finegan.
Based on the police investigation, at around 8:30 p.m. a female Palauan called the police and reported a fight which ensued at the Water Front Villa in Ngerbodel, Koror.
According to the report, the suspect requested the victim to pick him up and bring him to the Waterfront Villa.
Finegan sent his driver and dropped the suspect at his house. When DeRuiz came home, the victim asked him where his car was but the suspect replied and saying “not his problem.” The suspect then left home and later returned and knocked on the victim’s room. The victim came out to see who is knocking at his door, however upon opening the door the suspect suddenly punched him on his face.
Police responded and arrested the suspect. He was brought to jail and was issued citation.
Meanwhile a man was brought to the hospital after he was found lying on the side of the road with sustained injuries on the different parts of his body.
The unidentified victim is an Indonesian national and 35 years old.
Police investigation showed at early morning on Wednesday, unknown caller reported to the police the injured person lying in front of the KVC restaurant in MAlakal.
Police immediately responded and found the victim unconscious and had injuries on his face, left shoulder, and left finger.
He was brought and confined at the hospital.
