FSM announces unofficial list of candidates for March 2021 election

The Office of the President will disseminate a new press release when the list of candidates is official.

The March 2, 2021 congressional election will determine who sits as a senator in 10 two-year seats. The four contemporary at-large senators serving four-year terms will remain participants in the 22nd FSM Congress.

For the State of Yap, the only candidate running for the two-year seat is Isaac V. Figir.

For the State of Chuuk’s Election District 1, the only candidate running for the two-year seat is Florencio Singkoro Harper.

For the State of Chuuk’s Election District 2, the candidates are  Johnson Elimo and Victor Vicky Gouland.

For the State of Chuuk’s Election District 3, the only candidate running for the two-year seat is Derensio S. Konman.

For the State of Chuuk’s Election District 4, the candidates are Peter Nimwes and Tiwiter Aritos.

For the State of Chuuk’s Election District 5, the candidates are Robson U. Romolow and Ruphin Micky.

For the State of Pohnpei’s Election District 1, the candidates are Ausen T. Lambert and Ferny S. Perman.

For the State of Pohnpei’s Election District 2, the candidates are Berney Martin, Dion G. Neth, and Quincy Lawrence.

For the State of Pohnpei’s Election District 3, the candidates are Erick Paul, Esmond B. Moses, Jose Joab, and Marstella E. Jack.

For the state of Kosrae, the candidates are Johnson A. Asher and Paliknoa K. Welly.
