Good luck NMIS Spelling Bee champs!

(NMIS) — Northern Marianas International School  concluded its school Spelling Bee after four elimination rounds.  Students from grades 1st to 8th joined the competition.

Sean Troy Mateo, a 7th grade student, won the championship, while Maverick Lo Yamanaka, a 2nd grader, was named the alternate champion.

On March 12, 2022, Sean and Maverick will compete in the Regional Spelling Bee in Guam. They will be accompanied by their proud parents.

The NMIS family would like to cheer and wish them the best of luck!
