Governor reappoints 4 CPA board members

GOVERNOR Ralph DLG Torres reappointed Commonwealth Ports Authority board members Thomas Villagomez, Ramon A. Tebuteb, Barrie Toves and Joseph M. Diaz.

Villagomez, Tebuteb and Diaz represent Saipan on the CPA board while Toves represents Rota.

The governor, in his letter to Senate President Jude U. Hofschneider, said he and Lt. Gov. Arnold I. Palacios are confident in the nominees’ leadership to carry out the functions and mandates of the CPA board of directors.

If confirmed by the Senate, the board members’ new terms will expire on Oct. 7, 2025.

The governor also told Hofschneider that all the documents required by the Senate Committee on Executive Appointments and Governmental Investigations will be submitted to the Senate president’s office as soon as they become available.

The other CPA board members are Kimberlyn King-Hinds who serves as the chairwoman, Roman Tudela, the vice chairman, and Pete P. Reyes.

King-Hinds represents Tinian while Tudela and Reyes represent Saipan.
