Harley biker group donates to community

Kip Zynda, Director of the (HD) said that beginning on Monday the group donated five computers to the Belau Modekngei School and two for Kayangel Elementary School.

Later that day two computers to the Law Enforcement Explorer’s Program (LEEP).First Lady Debbie Remengesau received the donation in behalf of the school while Sen. Mlib Tmetuchl received the computers of the Kayangel Elementary School.Zynda said a member of the group would conduct technical training to the police department.He said that John McEnaney, of the Guam Motor Company would provide expertise on motor repairs to the country’s police agency.Zynda also said that the group raised at least $500 for the Palau Cancer Coalition.The group also donated two computers to Mindszenty High School.Zynda said this is the third year that the group has been coming to Palau to participate in the festivities.He said that the organization is a non-profit group which conducts fundraising for charity.This time there are 70 riders from Guam now in Palau and during the weekend the group held a bike-a-thon to the Compact Road.“We show appreciation to Palau’s hospitality and we thank Palau for the opportunity to be here,” Zynda said.
