Each year, the Office of the Head Start marks Head Start Awareness in October. As part of this year’s celebration, Board of Education Chairman Gregory Pat Borja, left photo, was the guest reader for the Tanapag Head Star Center children on Oct. 6 while Commissioner of Education Dr. Alfred B. Ada, right photo, was Thursday’s guest reader at the Joaquina Mareham Rabauliman Head Start Center in Garapan. Both education officials read “The Way I Feel” and acted out the emotions depicted in the book to help students identify and express their feelings in a positive manner which is critical to their social-emotional learning.
