Bureau of Public Safety Director Norvert H. Yano said that the Fire Division is still investigating the incident and cause of fire has yet to be established.
Yano said that the fire incident was reported to the police at 12:26 p.m. on August 19.The Internet shop was situated next to the Bestmart store.The fire originated at the storeroom of the computer shop, next to a carwash shop.Fire personnel responded to the scene and the fire was put under control at 2 p.m., Yano said.Yano said there were customers inside when the fire occurred but there was no report of any injuries, he said.The other establishments situated next to the computer shop suffered water and smoke damages, the BPS Director said.
