Japanese students meet students of Palau High School

At least 34 junior students from Japan aboard the vessel JHQA is in the country for five days for cultural and educational exchange.

The students were welcomed by the tourism class of PHS upon their arrival at the Malakal Port.

Sabina Andrew and Yoko Nogami, PHS tourism class teachers, said this is a yearly event of the PHSto meet withJapanese students to exchange ideas, views and knowledge of what they have learnedfrom theirrespective schools.

Japanese students will stay in the island for five days. They will visit historical sites and tourist spots especially the famous Rock islands during their stay.

This Monday the students are scheduled to leave the country.
