The juvenile was arrested on April 3 for multiple complaints of child sexual abuse, indecent assault and sodomy.
Lt. Aloysius Alonz of the Criminal Investigation Section said that the case was already forwarded to the Office of the Attorney General for proper disposition.Lt. Alonz said the incident was reported to the police on March 23.Alonz said the parents of one of the four victims reported that their minor son was abused on February 14 in Ngiwal State.CIS conducted investigation and during investigation, Officer Earlee Decherong discovered that there are three other minors who suffered the same ordeal.The suspect was identified and was arrested ten days later.Meanwhile, CIS personnel also arrested a 53-year-old man for trying to rob the First Commercial Bank on February.The suspect was arrested on April 30 for attempted robbery.Lt. Alonz said the suspect was identified through a surveillance camera.Investigation conducted by Detective Willymays Towai revealed that the suspect entered the bank on February 27 and threatened the teller and demanded for money.The suspect was not armed when he entered the bank.However when he sensed that the teller alerted the bank’s manager of the incident, he fled immediately.The suspect’s identity was captured in the surveillance camera and was televised in the local TV station, OTV.Alonz said the suspect had just arrived from off-island trip when he committed the crime.
