For his part, Torres, an honorary Lions Club member, said he is very proud of the organization for their commitment to serving the community.
“The thing that you guys continue to do in the community…talk about resilience, but honestly you guys have the vision of taking care of the community…. There are many students now that do not know the things that your organization is doing to safeguard them. This bus shelter is just one of the many projects that you guys have been doing,” Torres said.
“I want to thank all of you for everything that you have done and continue to do,” he added. “Rest assured that the rest of my cabinet, and agency directors, and this governor are your partners as we continue to move forward.”
