According to the Fiscal Year 2008 financial report by the Ministry of Health, the local revenue projection for that year is $39,925,551 and that actual collection to date is $37,991,331 or 95 percent of the projected amount.
The same report stated that the water utility revenues indicated only 71 percent of the anticipated revenues of $670,344 was collected.The projected collection for water utility was $945,000 , this was not collected because because the increase in water rates did not materialize.The financial report further said that 95 percent of the restricted revenues which is $1,700,000 was projected and $1,621,626 or 95 percent has been collected.The report added that the total Compact funds appropriated for FY2008 and is $17,840,000. The government has withdrawn the funds appropriated.The same report said that total accounts payable amounts to $11,460,826 and 5,572,385 of which is from the general fund local revenues.The total general accounts receivable is $21,328,604.The accounts receivable for the national hospital is $11,645,143.47.
