The completion was for fourth- to sixth-graders.
Advancing to the final round, which will be held on Jan. 8, are fourth-graders Jovanny Iderbei, Tannika Hossuin, Rinisha Torres and David Rios; fifth-graders Andrea Camacho, Daniele Manzanades, Juan Quitugua Jr. and Lucy Saito and sixth-graders Kadi Camacho and Alex Gablinez.
The champion will then take a written qualifying test to compete for advancement to the state level.
The Geographic Bee, now in its 22nd year, tests the students’ knowledge in geography, and includes map, globe, chart, and graph skill questions.
