TWENTY-ONE new U.S. citizens were sworn in at a naturalization ceremony held at the District Court for the NMI on July 7, 2025.
Riley Huskey, a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services officer, made the motion in court to accept the applicants as new citizens. Presiding over the special court session, Chief Judge Ramona V. Manglona granted the motion.
The new U.S. citizens are:
James Medes Amog, Wilma Ebuen Amog, Michaela Mole Bacalso, Henry Meyia Bartolome, Maria Lourdes Hernandez, Leonardo Santos Cristobal, Beda Ola Fauni, Racquel Huit Floyd, Celso Torres Guevarra, Myrna Cabilangan Guevarra, Ma. Isabel Rosario Dysangco Hiney, Maria Gail Delas Alas Labatete, Milagros Espaldon Matulac, Nixon Sala Matulac, Ma. Socorro Cruz Mercado, Maria Fe Medrano Montano, Aprily Ilacad Navarro, Shirin Sultana Omar, Katherine Cal Songsong, Mabel Tancinco Subang, and Rustico Hernandez Valino.
Raymundo Arca Tabilisma was also listed as one of the applicants for U.S. citizenship but was not present at the ceremony, Variety learned.
