Hosted by the Division of Environmental Quality, the expo will be for the fourth and fifth graders from private and public schools.
Government agencies and private companies will be featuring their different services and exhibits.
Among the exhibitors will be Northern Marianas College, the Department of Public Works, the Department of Land and Natural Resources and the Mariana Islands Nature Alliance.
DEQ said the expo is designed to give children more information about environmental issues.
It is also part of the 2011 Environmental Awareness Month celebration which carries the theme “Invest in the Real Green: Our Environment.”
Other activities include the all-month Adopt-a-Beach and laboratory tours, First Friday Films People’s Choice Award in which viewers can vote for their favorite movie, the Trashin’ Fashion Show slated on Thursday at 12 noon at American Memorial Park, the islandwide cleanup on April 15-16, and tree planting on Arbor Day, April 29.
