Certified high school lifeguards and teacher assistants were joined by 500 Sails’ volunteers to oversee the program.

Fifty-four participants enjoyed swimming classes, many of them safely making it to the closest tank for the first time in their lives! This semester included youth from 12 villages, including As Terlaje, Chalan Kanoa, Chalan Lau Lau, Chalan Kiya, Dandan, Garapan, Gualo Rai, Kagman, Koblerville, Oleai, San Vicente, Susupe. Ages of participants ranged from 4 to 18.
Once the PSS calendar for Fall 2020 is announced, 500 Sails will set dates for next round of Gamsun Project classes.
