Five teams who made it on the second elimination round on March13 — the Famous Crew, ETC, Angels, Final Extreme and Project Impact will join the list of competitors along with the first three groups that won in the first elimination on March 6.
The first three groups were Rockabeat King, LOST, and Super Eye Candy.
“The dancing skills of the participating teams are astounding, but only three winners will win the top three places during the finals on Saturday,” McDonald’s Saipan marketing officer Ana Olaes said.
The competition will be on hip-hop, street dancing and break dancing.
Olaes said the final competition will start at 5 p.m. outside the McDonald’s Middle Road outlet.
The criteria for final judging are technical skills, rhythm and choreography. The top three winners will win $500, $300 and $200 with trophies each.
Olaes said although it is the company’s first time to hold a dance competition, the support of the community has been tremendous during the two elimination rounds.
“We are thankful to everybody who had been with us, and we look forward to having you once again for the final event,” Olaes said.
Guests will be treated to a lot of entertainment including dance numbers from Green Meadow School dance group, as well as special numbers from the Search for McDonald’s Singing Idol winners last year.
Grand draw
At 4 p.m. on Saturday, the grand draw for the anniversary raffle promo will be held where three lucky winners will bring home fabulous prizes.
For a whole month, McDonald’s Saipan shows its appreciation for the support they got from the community for the past 17 years by giving out raffle tickets for every $15 single transaction at the McDonald Saipan food outlets.
Up for grabs for the grand prize is a round trip ticket for two to Manila. Second and third place winners will win a laptop and a digital camera, while 10 lucky winners will receive McDonald’s gift certificates.
Olaes said customers still have until Saturday to catch up and avail of raffle tickets to get a chance at the prizes.
