Literacy program trainer Bryan Manabat said the participants enjoyed an hour and a half each day from June 27 to July 1 various activities including storybook read-aloud, group reading, arts and craft, and a kite flying activity connected to one of the storybooks they used.
Manabat said the activities started after the school year was over.

“Parents and children who were in the vicinity were given a chance to avail of the services of the Bookmobile after each story sharing sessions,” Manabat said.
The children who joined the activities included Jezebel Kaipat, Kenneth Kaipat, Kyle Kaipat, Stanley Kaipat, Bobat Kaipat, Tiana Ahmed, Jennisa Ilo, Issa Ilo, and Betti Ilo under San Isidro Youth Center coordinator Raymond Kapileo.
