AG wants probation of convicted thief revoked

Palacios, 21, was placed on five-year probation after he was sentenced to one year imprisonment, all suspended  with credit for the eight days  he had already served at the Department of Corrections facility.

Palacios admitted stealing  an X-Box 360 from a Kagman residence in 2008.

For his new case, the Superior Court lowered the original $1,000 bail to $500 cash.

Assistant Public Defender Adam Miles is representing Palacios.

In her affidavit, Probation Officer Shirley Camacho-Ogumoro said Palacios violated the terms of his suspended sentence.

On Sept. 1, 2010, Palacios was charged with one count of indecent exposure in the second degree, and one count of disturbing the peace.

Palacios also failed to perform his minimum required community work service hours, or five hours a month, the probation office said.

Palacios paid a total of $225 as of July 15, 2010 out of the required $500 fine payable within one year.

Police said Palacios peeked through the window of his neighbor and was seen outside his house fondling himself.
