Assistant Attorney General George L. Hasselback filed the information against 33-year-old Clark Ray, a resident of Koblerville, for sexual assault and assault and battery.
The information stated that on May 5, 2009, the defendant sexually assaulted a member of his household without the victim’s consent.
He has been charged with one count of sexual assault in the first degree and one count of assault and battery for beating and punching the same victim in her head on the same day.
The Superior Court has summoned the defendant to appear in court on Aug. 3 to answer the charges filed against him. If he fails to show up on the said date, an application for an arrest warrant could be made.
The AGO also filed information against Emielyn R. Camacho for one count of assault and battery and one count for disturbing the peace.
The information stated that on June 2, 2009, the defendant beat and caused bodily harm to another person.
The defendant also unreasonably annoyed and disturbed the peace of the victim, the information added.
