‘All the Islands of the Sea’ seminar starts on Oct. 15

This is the question posed by the invitation to the public regarding an upcoming free seminar on Bible truth and health.

The “All the Islands of the Sea” event will start on Oct. 15 and end on Nov. 5, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Saipan S.D.A Elementary School in San Antonio, Chinatown across Luka Ben Enterprises (Yellow House), and at  Kagman church near the SDA Dental Clinic.

“Can we truly rely on our world leaders to develop long-term solutions for the benefit of our island and our planet, its people and resources?” the invitation asks.

Pastor Carlos Sotomayor of the Saipan Seventh-day Adventist Church said the free evangelistic seminar is one of the opportunities for community members to find  real answers in the Bible.

In the Holy Bible, “we find amazing prophetic revelations that have been fulfilled from ancient times to the very times in which we now live in, and we find certainty and answers for a world in turmoil,” the invitation stated.

Sotomayor said as people consider the future they don’t need to look any further for long-term solutions than the “ancient yet accurate predictions of Bible prophecy.”

Some of the topics that will be discussed in the seminar include “How to know the future,” “Why so much suffering,” “Secrets of ancient scrolls,” “Signs you can’t ignore,” “What happens when you die,” “Making a new start,” and “Why are there so many denominations.”

Aside from Bible discussions, Sotomayor said the program includes health presentations, a children program and musical numbers.

The church will also conduct a “health expo” on Oct. 16 at the SDA Dental Clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Services to be offered include free blood pressure and blood sugar examination, spiritual counseling and other health check-ups.

The speakers for the seminar are Ken Pierson, Eric Mahinay and Sotomayor.

Lily Inos and Vicky Kosam are the speakers in Kagman.
