The funding is made available through the College Access Challenge Project, which aims to increase college enrollment and retention among the CNMI’s public high school graduates.

The project will be awarding direct financial aid in the form of need-based grants and tuition and fees assistance to qualified participants.

To determine if they are qualified for the program, high school students are advised to contact Lulu Wang or Zenaida Javier at the NMC Counseling Office, tel. no. 234-5498 ext. 1341.

In addition to providing financial assistance, the College Access Challenge project will also help provide academic support services, which will include tutoring, personal counseling, and a variety of educational activities and workshops to prepare students for success in college.
