LISS offers trial basis to local students
LISS — Ladera International School of Saipan, through its first summer session, highlighted activities conforming to its academic standards by offering summer classes from 1st to 10th grades.
Beginning on Aug. 4, the regular school year begins and LISS this time will allow local students and their parents to see what the school offers.
From Aug. 4 to 29, LISS will open six slots per grade level starting from K-4, K-5 through 10th grade to the local residents on island.
“This trial basis will provide local students an opportunity to experience LISS’ regular school year program during the time they are still on vacation,” stated Wayne Pangelinan, LISS director.
“The success of our summer programs prompted us to offer more opportunities during the long summer break of the public schools,” he added. “We feel that having alternative learning activities for students during the break will enhance their academics when returning to their schools or when enrolling with LISS.”
LISS will also offer a Quantum Learning Leadership Program and Science Camp on July 28-Aug. 17.
