Arts Council to feature Flame Tree Arts Festival artists in upcoming book

Arts Council Executive Director Angel S. Hocog said they aim to celebrate all artists who have made contributions to the Flame Tree Arts Festival through the years.

“Through the book project, we intend to highlight their remarkable talents that have produced great works of art that have been displayed in our biggest annual festival,” Hocog said.

They are seeking the help of the public in finding these artists or their families and friends to include them in the book which the Arts Council plans to publish next year in time for the 31st Annual Flame Tree Arts Festival.

“As part of its research and preparation, the Arts Council is seeking the help of the community to further its efforts to locate a number of these artists who are still here, those who have moved off-island, and the relatives or friends of those who have already passed away,” Hocog said.
